Who is your Ideal Client?
Ideal Client Avatar Everything you do for your business, whether it be on social media or not, stems from your ideal client avatar.
Who is your ideal client? Create an avatar for them! What do they do for a living? Where do they live? In a city or a suburb? What type of education do they have? What do they do in their spare time? What are their hobbies? Are they single? Married? Kids? Pets? What do they do for exercise? What is their annual income? Favorite television shows? What is their name? Yes, give them a name! This person is your BFF, you must know everything about them.
Now that you have determined your ideal client, you will now know how to market to them.
This brings me to the ever so dreadful topic of hashtags. This is where most of my clients get lost. Hashtags don’t have to be overwhelming or confusing. Now that you know your ideal client you know which hashtags to be using on your posts.
Go back to their likes and their interests. Let’s say you are a hair stylist in Philadelphia. Instead of using #hairstylist you can use #philadelphiamom because Kim, your ideal client avatar, is a mom in Philadelphia.
